I bought these recently as I love to swim but hate to get water in my ears. They fitted easily and snugly, most importantly I got no water in my ears. Which was brilliant as I had a gorgeous full moon bathe in my pool. Floating under the full moon in comfort and no ear ache later. Thanks so much!
I really like this robe, it’s lovely, thick, absorbent towelling, nice colour, and generously sized without swamping me. I had one from a different company that looked like it was towelling but the inside was weirdly smooth and non absorbent. The nifty little slits that enable you to get dressed comfortably and modestly are an added bonus.
This is a great changing robe. It weighs very little, dries the body well, covers all the necessary bits with its side overlap, packs down into a small bag and stays light when damp. I find I have to slightly ‘shrug’ the robe up a bit to be able to bend my first arm back into the armhole after removing a swimming costume in order to avoid popping the top side button, but that’s no issue at all now I’ve got the hang of it. I think it’s a great bit of kit!
I love this robe, I wear it home after my aqua class and I use it for showering when we’re away in our touring caravan. It’s really great and dries super fast.

My husband and I were out on a walk and I said, “someone should make a changing robe out of trek towel material”…. So I googled it and found Swimcell. We walk the Cornish coast a lot and I love popping into the sea for a swim, changing with a normal trek towel is a challenge, particularly in the wind, and my normal changing towel is too big to carry on a walk. This changing robe is perfect as it rolls up small enough to fit in my day walking rucksack, makes changing so much easier and has kept me warmer. So pleased with it. 🙂
We will be using them in our caravan. They are easy to carry, clean and store. A good shape to fit my mobility scooter because I can have difficulty carrying even 2 litre bottles up hill. I like them.
These robes are TOP CLASS. Nice weight. Nice side buttoning. Nice hood. Nice everything. Very very good quality. I bought 2. One for me (blue) and 1 for my wife (pink). I'm 5"8" height. Average weight. 13st. Great fit. My wife is 5"6" and just over 9st. Again. Great fit. Bought for holidays to Portugal. As well as being a changeing robe. It can double up as lightweight beach towel with all buttons (poppers) undone. Excuse my French but bloo-y brilliant. Slightly heavier than a microfiber but very very marginally. No bad thing. Rolls up real small to fit 2 off in one ruck sack. No problem. As well as all the usual pruck for the beach. I'm not suggesting you buy one. I'm telling you to buy one. Even for around the house back home or sunny holiday destination. I'm a bit like Noah. Buy 2 of everything. Just in case I can't get again on the future. I may do just that. Not expensive for the quality provided. Nice swim cell logo to. Makes it look real professional. To be honest. I'd probably drown in a kids paddling pool. My wife is the top class swimmer. Not me. 😁. Anywho! To much babbling. I'm Oirish wouldn't ya know it. For sure for sure for sure. 😂
Very useful, lightweight, compact
I wanted a robe that is lightweight to take on holiday. This is it. Had a practice yesterday. Excellent changing robe. Really handy to have the poppers down the sides to adjust clothing. Absorbs moisture, dries super quick and packs away small. Game changer. May use all the time and save the bulky ‘dry robe’ style coat for winter changing only.
Decent quality and price. Impossible to find in shops nowadays.

I go sea swimming in Shetland, which can either be the North Sea or the North Atlantic Ocean as Shetland is surrounded by both.
At its warmest it can be 12°c - 14°c, but at its coldest -5°/-7°c. It usually sits at 9°c - 11°c. The biggest hurdle is protecting hands, feet & head from the cold. This headband has been the best one I’ve ever worn! If I’m swimming swimming it forms a tight around my head that helps keep my 2 swimming caps in place, therefore keeping my forehead warm, and it’s tight around my ears so it helps keeps them dry and helps hold my ear plug in situ. The Velcro seal at the back doesn’t rub the back of my neck either so i don’t have to wear a neck gaitor to stop it rubbing. When I’m not swimming swimming and casually head up swimming with my group of swimmers I still wear it underneath my fair isle wool headband. Not strapped as tight though. I find it helps protect my ears and forehead by keeping the cold wind away.
It’s amazing! An awesome bit of kit I have in my swim arsenal.
Most definitely will be buying a few more to have in circulation.

I am an outdoor swimmer. Have discovered 2 sets of keys on the beach. Wanted a key ring so if they fell in the sea they would float. It is really light and does not bang or scratch the car. It is really visible.Would recommend this product
